General booking conditions


The purpose of this document is to inform you of the general booking conditions regulated by the HOTEL COSTA AZUL website (henceforward "website").

On the website you can find information on the availability of rooms, prices, services offered by the Hotel Costa Azul, and, where applicable, activities or complementary services offered by third parties, where you can request and formalise bookings directly online.

The request for and processing of bookings signify the full and unconditional acceptance of the legal notice and the privacy policy and of these general booking terms and conditions in their latest version. For this reason, we advise you that you read these conditions before requesting or formalising a booking, and each time you access our website, as the website reserves the right to change, modify, add or delete part of these general conditions at any time.


These general terms and conditions are subject to the provisions set forth in the General Contracting Conditions Act 7/1998 of 13 April; the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, which adopts the re-written text of the General Act for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws; Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce; as well as all tourism regulations that are applicable and, subsidiarily, the Civil Code and the Code of Mercantile Law.


The request for and formalisation of bookings via the website are subject to the following clauses:

  1. Declarations: The user declares:

a)To be of legal age and have full capacity to request and/or formalise the booking, declaring that you understand and comprehend fully the conditions that are to be found on the website.

b)That data supplied when you request or formalise the booking is truthful, complete and accurate.

c)You confirm the booking made or requested: that is to say, the dates indicated, the services requested, the number of rooms, persons and accommodation chosen

  1. Website access: Access to this website is the responsibility of the user.

  2. Booking products and services via the website:

3.1. Included in the booking are the services detailed in accordance with the booking conditions set forth on the website from which said booking is requested or formalised.

3.2. The user accepts that Hotel Costa Azul, S.A. accepts no obligation or responsibility whatsoever with respect to any services that it does not directly provide and in particular with respect to a lack of truthfulness, an incomplete nature, not being fully updated and/or inaccuracy in the data or information on offers, products or services, prices, characteristics or any other data or information that is relevant to the products and services offered via the website by external providers. Similarly, Hotel Costa Azul, S.A. is exempt from any responsibility caused by the non-compliance or flawed compliance by said providers of their obligations derived from the current regulations in force and from the terms and conditions of sale of each of the products and services that may be booked via this website.

3.3. These general conditions should be accepted by you before you requests or formalise the booking. The booking may be validly formalised in Spanish, German or English.

  1. The booking formalisation process on the website takes place in 4 steps:

1.Availability: Search for dates and selection of type of room and number of persons


3.Request data from the credit card to guarantee the reservation or full payment of the stay and collection of personal data or identifying data for registered users

4.Booking confirmation Once the booking has been made, the logs generated by the operation will be stored. The client will receive details of their booking by email, together with a number that will identify them (booking reference code), all related data, conditions and refund policy.

  1. The mere request for availability (on request bookings) does not signify the booking of the reservation, this being subject to the effective confirmation by Hotel Costa Azul, S.A. and, where applicable, the fulfilment of the pricing conditions that appear on the page where you made your request.

  2. Price and payment:

6.1. The conditions and price of the planned stay or of the service(s) requested are those that are expressly determined in the pricing conditions included on the page where you request or make the reservation.

6.2. The offers shall solely be valid during the time that they remain accessible to the users of the service.

6.3. The prices indicated on the website are Recommended Retail Prices, VAT included. The transaction shall be effected in EUROS, whatever the origin of the client.

6.4. The formalisation of the reservation involves the request data from a valid credit card to guarantee the reservation.

6.5. The remainder of the payment should be made at the Hotel when the service starts to be provided otherwise the booking will be considered cancelled, in accordance with the conditions detailed in the section Cancellations/modifications of bookings and non-presentation.

  1. Cancellations/modifications of bookings and non-presentation:

7.1. Modification of the booking: The booking made may be modified without charge, providing it is requested more than 3 days before the original date of arrival at the hotel, by email to, by telephone on +34 971 731940 or by fax on +34 971 731971, indicating the booking reference code. The success of the modification will depend on the availability at Hotel Costa Azul at the moment of the request.

7.2. Cancellation of the booking and non-presentation:Â The booking made may be cancelled without charge, providing it is done more than 3 days before the date of arrival at the hotel, in writing by email to, or by fax on +34 971 731971, indicating the booking reference code.

Cancellation of the booking less than 3 days before the date of arrival at the hotel will signify payment by the client of a penalty corresponding to to the first night of the stay Non-presentation at the check-in or cancellation of the booking less than 24 days before the date of arrival at the hotel will signify payment by the client of a penalty corresponding to the first night of the stay, as well as, in the case of non-presentation, the cancellation of the booking.

Any bank charges generated by booking cancellations will be met by the client. At all events, the corresponding invoice will be issued to the address indicated by the client at the moment of making the booking.

  1. Acceptance: The request for and formalisation of the booking will necessarily signify that each and every one of these general conditions, considered an integral part of the booking and completed with the pricing conditions and the specific legislation applicable, are expressly accepted by you.

  2. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction: This contract shall be governed by Spanish law and for any dispute that may arise with respect to its validity, execution, fulfilment or resolution, fully or partially, the parties, expressly renouncing their own jurisdiction, subject themselves expressly to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts and Tribunals of Palma de Mallorca (Spain).
