Holy Week is coming up and spring is just around the corner, it’s time to prepare for your trip to Mallorca and let yourself get drawn in by the island’s charm.

When we plan a trip, the main goal is for everything to turn out well and it to be enjoyable being the top priority. For it to be so we must keep several things in mind.

In this post we’ll give you some tips to help ensure your trip to Mallorca is as perfect as can be.

Getting your suitcase ready

Your suitcase is key when it comes to organising your getaway. If you want to avoid unexpected problems, you need to pack your suitcase right, so the following should be kept in mind:

Take several suitcases: We recommend taking several suitcases and dividing essential clothing between them. This means you’ll be covered if one of them gets lost.

List: Make a list of everything you need so you don’t forget anything.

All the essentials at hand: Documentation, money, phone, a change of clothes, etc. Take essentials in a handbag.

Weather

Mallorca is an island with a enjoyable climate all year round but depending on the season you travel in there are differences so you’ll need one kind of clothing or another.

If travelling in winter, we recommend bringing a decent jacket and warm clothes, above all if you’re going to be heading to places in Serra de Tramuntana. On the other hand, if you’re travelling in summer, it would be better to go with shorts and short sleeves, cool and light clothing that, most importantly, is comfortable.

Documentation

We shouldn’t fear for the worst, but we know that the unexpected can happen. So always take a copy of your documentation with you, making any possible problematic situation easier to deal with.

Check the cultural programme

Staying in Palma has its benefits, and the city has countless entertainment options whether travelling as a couple, a family or with friends. From Mallorcan markets and fairs to museums and countless other options you’ll find them all in Mallorca’s cultural programme.
