Bonfires and concerts fill the streets of the city center, resulting in a night full of light, music and fun.
On January 20, the day of Saint Sebastian and a public holiday in the city of Palma, the solemn mass is held in the Cathedral in the morning, a tradition that has been upheld over the years. That same day will also see the celebration of the Cycling Day, and at night the prize-giving ceremony of the Ciutat Palma Awards will take place, these being the literary awards handed out by the City Hall of Palma since 1958.
The San Sebastián festivities end on January 22 and are topped off by the “correfoc dels Dimonis”, a night that ends with a spectacular firework display.
